SF Works

In 1996, during the time of welfare reform, SFWorks was a not-for-profit organization, was funded and conceived by employers who wanted to train and hire women formerly on welfare. I was the founding CEO and raised over $10M, trained and placed over 10,000 women into careers into eight high-growth sectors, and by the end of my tenure had a 95% placement rate, and a 92% retention rate of participants over one year's time.
